Overview

Our Visions of Employment Webinar aims to provide employers with the knowledge and resources they need to create a supportive workplace for all employees. We will inform employers about the support services we provide before, during, and after the hiring process.

The session will include an overview of the services that are available to support employers as they onboard new employees who are legally blind. In addition to the insight that will be provided by the employers, this session will also feature assistive technology and orientation and mobility demonstrations.

Topics include:

  • Workplace Accommodations: Guidance on implementing effective and reasonable accommodations to support employees who are legally blind.
  • Training and Resources: Information on training programs, assistive technologies, and other resources provided by MCB to support both employers and employees.
  • Success Stories: Hear from two employers who have hired people with visual impairments and the steps they took from recruitment through onboarding.

Meet the Speakers

Meet the two employers who will be sharing their experiences and insights. This webinar highlights the powerful partnerships between forward-thinking organizations and talented employees who are legally blind.
