Overview

Join the Universal Access Program for accessible small group hiking in Carlisle. During this program, run by our partner Waypoint Adventure, you’ll see stunning forests, ponds/waterways, eat lunch, connect with new people, and end with a tour of a working barn lead by DCR staff! You’ll benefit from our selection of adaptive equipment, receive instruction to meet any learning style, and be encouraged to reach your individual goals.

You need to meet our essential eligibility criteria for hiking.
You will also need to pre-register for this program. Registration ends April 23, 2025.

What to bring:
- Small back pack or bag to carry your things
- Clothes comfortable for hiking
- Lunch or snacks
- Water bottle
- Sun protection (hat, glasses, lotion)
- Bug spray
- Lace-up sneakers or hiking boots
- *Waypoint Adventure can provide hats, gloves, warm socks, boots, and extra layers for you to borrow. If you think you may need to borrow something, please let them know in advance!
