Battery-Powered Landscaping Equipment Event in Northampton
Overview
With the change of season, you may be considering a transition to battery-powered landscaping equipment (BPLE). Increasingly, organizations are embracing the environmental, health, and cost benefits associated with switching from traditional gas-powered equipment. Statewide Contract FAC116 Lawns and Grounds Equipment offers residential- and commercial-grade battery-powered push mowers, walk-behind mowers, ride-on mowers, zero-turn mowers, blowers, snow-throwers, and string trimmers for purchase and lease. Battery-powered golf carts and utility vehicles also are available.
BPLE Event in Northampton
The Commonwealth’s Leading by Example program — in coordination with the City of Northampton and the Operational Services Division — is hosting a battery-powered landscaping equipment event so organizations may learn about BPLE and try out equipment offered by FAC116 Vendors. Representatives from MassSave also will be on hand to discuss purchasing incentives.*
