Overview of Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Class #68 Graduation
State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #68 on Thursday, March 1, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Pentucket Regional High School, 22 Main Street, West Newbury, MA.
Graduates from 16 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the 16 fire departments of: Boxford, Essex, Georgetown, Hamilton, Lynnfield, Manchester, Merrimac, Nahant, Newburyport, Pepperell, Rowley, Salisbury, Sherborn, Topsfield, Wenham, and West Newbury.
The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.
Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.
