Overview of Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Class #69 Graduation
State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #69 on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at the Department of Fire Services, 1 State Road, Stow, MA.
Graduates from 13 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the 13 fire departments of: East Brookfield, Grafton, Lunenburg, Monson, New Braintree, Northbridge, Paxton, Spencer, Sterling, Templeton, Townsend, West Brookfield, and Winchendon.
The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.
Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.

There is handicapped parking near both entrances. The event is held in the fire station which is closest to the main entrance (the one with the ski jump roof). However, it can be a long walk to the fire station for anyone with mobility impairments. A wheelchair is available at both entrances - ask staff for it.
