Deputy State Fire Marshal Maribel Fournier and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of the Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training Class #72 on Monday, October 29, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. at Department of Fire Services, 100 Grochmal Road, Springfield MA.

Graduates from 9 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the nine fire departments of: Dalton, Granville, Great Barrington, Hampden, Lee, New Braintree, Palmer, South Hadley – District 1, and Sturbridge.

The Call/Volunteer Recruit Firefighter Training program is unique in that it delivers a standard recruit training curriculum, meeting national standards, on nights and weekends to accommodate the schedule of firefighters in rural areas.

Invited guests include: representatives of the Massachusetts Fire Training Council, city and town officials, family members of recruits, and chiefs of department.
