Public Hearing Notice  Cape Cod Bridges Project - Sagamore Bridge replacement public hearing

MassDOT is holding an in-person Design Public Hearing to discuss the Cape Cod Bridges: Sagamore Bridge Replacement Project in Bourne, MA. MassDOT will also provide an update on Bourne Bridge.

Purpose

The purpose of this hearing is to provide the public with the opportunity to learn more and comment on the proposed replacement of the Sagamore Bridge. MassDOT will present on the status of the project, proposed design plans, expected impacts, right-of-way, construction approaches, detours and traffic management during construction, and next steps. While the primary focus will be Sagamore Bridge, MassDOT will also provide a brief update on the status of the Bourne Bridge project. MassDOT will review and consider all views and comments submitted in response to the meeting.

Proposal

MassDOT plans to replace the Sagamore bridge, build new connections to the local and regional roadway network, and improve bicycle and pedestrian travel within the Cape Cod Canal area. This location is accessible to people with disabilities.
