Overview of Career Firefighter Recruit Class #S28 to Graduate from Department of Fire Services’ Springfield Campus
Deputy State Fire Marshal and Acting Massachusetts Fire Academy (MFA) Director Maribel Fournier will present certificates of completion to 21 graduates of the Massachusetts Firefighting Academy on Friday, August 5, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Department of Fire Services, Springfield Campus, located at 100 Grochmal Avenue, Springfield, MA.
The recruits of MFA Class #S28 will graduate at the Springfield campus and represent the 14 fire departments of Agawam, Ashburnham, Dalton, Falmouth, Gardner, Monson, Newton, Orange, Southwick, Sturbridge, Ware, West Springfield, Westfield, and Wrentham.
The ceremony will be posted to the DFS YouTube channel following its conclusion.

Graduation ceremony for Career Recruit Firefighting Class #S28 will be held in the fire station at our Springfield campus. Handicapped parking and a wheelchair will be available at the main entrance for those who need help walking long distances.
