Overview of Career Recruit Firefighter Class #S06 Graduation
State Fire Marshal Peter J. Ostroskey and Massachusetts Firefighting Academy Director David C. Evans will present certificates of completion to members of Career Recruit Firefighter Training Class #S06 in a graduation on Thursday, December 7, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. The ceremony will take place at the Department of Fire Services, 100 Grochmal Avenue, Springfield, MA. The guest speaker will be Easthampton Fire Chief, David Mottor.
This is the sixth Career Recruit Firefighting Training Program to be held at the Department of Fire Services’ Springfield campus. The state bought the former Springfield Fire Training Center from the city and in 2015 completed a $13.4 million renovation and construction project on the 6-acre complex.
Graduates from 7 Fire Departments
The graduates represent the seven fire departments of: Agawam, Amherst, Chicopee, Easthampton, Holyoke, Northampton, and Springfield.
