Overview of Central Highlands Resource Management Plan Kickoff Public Listening Session 6/7/2022
The Department of Conservation and Recreation is hosting a kickoff public listening session for our Resource Management Plans (RMPs) in the Central Highlands District. RMPs are being prepared for the following 31 properties in DCR's Central Highlands District: Ashburnham SF, Dunn SP/Gardner HSP, Erving SF, Federation of Women's Clubs SF, Hubbardston SF, J. Harry Rich SF, Johnny Appleseed SP, Lake Dennison Recreation Area, Lake Wyola SP, Lancaster SF, Leominster SF, Montague SF, Mount Grace SF, New Salem SF, Northfield SF, Orange SF, Otter River SF, Pearl Hill SP, Petersham SF, Royalston SF, Shutesbury SF, Squannacook Brook SF, Templeton SF, Townsend SF, Townsend SF, Wachusett Mountain SR, Warwick SF, Wendell SF, Westminster SF, Willard Brook SF, and Winchendon SF.
The public will be invited to submit comments after the meeting, with a deadline for receipt by DCR of June 28th, 2022. Comments may be submitted online at https://www.mass.gov/forms/dcr-public-comments. Please note that public comments submitted to DCR may be posted on the DCR website in their entirety, and no information, including personal information, may be redacted.
