Career Pathways
The Massachusetts Department of Early Education partners with community colleges to help early educators enroll in higher education courses that put them on a path toward achieving teacher certification and advancing careers in early education. Through Career Pathways, students and educators will connect with higher education courses and programs offered by Massachusetts community colleges, and explore opportunities for EEC certification and to pursue associates degrees.
Early Childhood Educator Scholarship
The Early Childhood Educator Scholarship provides financial assistance if you are currently employed in the field of early childhood education. This includes all licensed and funded EEC program types (group and school aged, out-of-school time, family child care and residential programs). The scholarship supports early childhood staff who are enrolled in a higher education certificate, associates, bachelors or masters degree program at an approved institution in Massachusetts.
