Question #1: On an existing dwelling when installing a listed switch or circuit breaker separate from a utility meter and marked “suitable for use as service equipment” and the MBJ is removed is this enclosure permitted to be labeled Emergency Disconnect – Not Service equipment as per 230.85(B)(3) 230.85(E)(1)(3) and 230.85(E)(2).
Question #2: Is SEU (3 wire) cable permitted to be installed from the listed switch or circuit breaker marked Emergency Disconnect – Not service equipment enclosure to listed and labeled Service equipment – Such as a Main Breaker load center – as permitted in 338.10(A)
Question #3: The listed SEU (3 wire) cable assembly is installed to provide power as a ‘service entrance’ conductor from a listed switch or circuit breaker (230.85) & 338.10(A) to a Main Breaker load center as the service panel, does the grounded conductor (neutral) need to be insulated?
