Overview
The VA, the Executive Office of Veteran Services, the Massachusetts Women Veterans Network, the North Shore Juneteenth Association, and the Lynn-Swampscott Veterans Service Office are proud to host the Mind, Body, Service Wellness Workshop for Women Veterans.
Women veterans will have the opportunity to experience holistic wellness activities and access vital resources tailored to support women veterans.
The workshop will feature:
- Chair Massage & Yoga – Relax and rejuvenate with guided sessions.
- Spanish Dance & Zumba – Get moving with fun and energetic fitness activities.
- Health & Wellness Demonstrations – Learn valuable self-care techniques.
- Veteran & Family Support Resources – Connect with organizations dedicated to supporting veterans and their families.
- Medical Van Services – Receive blood pressure checks.
- VA ID & VA Enrollment – Get assistance with registering for VA benefits and toxic exposure screenings on-site.
- Kid Zone – Fun activities will be available for children to enjoy.
- Giveaways, Food & More! – Exciting surprises throughout the event.
A Spanish translator will be available to assist attendees and their families.
“This event is about supporting our women veterans in every aspect—mind, body, and service,” said Deputy Secretary Andrea Gayle-Bennett. “At the Executive Office of Veteran Services, we want to provide them with the tools, resources, and community they have earned.”
