Overview
Barbara Kessler, a Community Engagement Coordinator at the Massachusetts Office of the Attorney General will aid participants in how to avoid or detect a variety of different mail, phone, online, and cryptocurrency scams. Identity theft will be defined, in addition to the steps to take if you experience it. There will be time for questions and discussion on how to best protect ourselves.
This event will be held on Zoom.
Note: The Community Engagement Division of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) was created by AG Campbell to serve all people in Massachusetts regardless of their legal status, and to provide access to our resources, services, and educational "know your rights" trainings, which address consumer, workplace, landlord-tenant, and civil rights.
