Exploring the Ware River Watershed – Group Hike via the Riis Farm Trail.
3.5 miles - Intermediate
Join us for a 3.5-mile lollipop loop hike in the Ware River Watershed. The route climbs/descends roughly 400 ft. in elevation. The hike travels through the former Riis Farm property. If we have enough time we may also stop by the Barre Heath property on the south side of Rt. 62. Visit this trailforks.com website for additional information on the route.
Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring water and snacks. Ticks are still active so protection is advised, as is wearing orange during hunting season.
Dogs are not allowed.
