Public Hearing Notice Haverhill-Methuen - I-495 and Industrial Ave bridge replacements
Overview
An in-person Public Information Meeting will be held at Haverhill City Hall to discuss the Haverhill-Methuen I-495 and Industrial Ave Bridge Replacements project.
Purpose:
The purpose of this meeting is to introduce the public to the proposed Haverhill-Methuen I-495 and Industrial Avenue bridge replacements. All views and comments made at the meeting will be reviewed and considered to the maximum extent possible.
Proposal:
The proposed project includes the full replacement of bridges along with work on the sections of roadway approaching each structure. Adjoining sections of Route 110 (Merrimack Street) will also be repaved as part of the work. The project will improve safety for motorists and reduce impacts from maintenance operations. Initial construction began in September 2025. Staged construction will be used to minimize traffic impacts.

Statements and exhibits intended for inclusion in the public meeting transcript must be emailed or postmarked no later than ten (10) business days (14 calendar days) after the meeting is hosted on the MassDOT website listed below.
