Public Meeting Notice Language Access Plan Listening Session Session 1 - Virtual
Overview
The Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs (EEA) and the Department of Public Utilities (DPU) are seeking input on their draft Language Access Plans (LAPs) to promote meaningful access to proceedings, programs, services, activities, and materials. The LAPs will bring our work to more people by eliminating barriers for individuals with Limited English Proficiency (LEP) through language assistance that will provide accurate, timely and effective communication.
In conjunction with the Environmental Justice Office for EEA, the DPU will hold public listening sessions on July 2 and July 9, 2024, to gather feedback on the Draft LAPs. EEA and DPU are also seeking written comments no later than August 3, 2024. The feedback EEA and DPU receive during these listening sessions and public comment period will help to shape the final LAPs that will be implemented.
Interpretation will be provided in Spanish, Portuguese, Chinese, Haitian Creole, and Vietnamese. If you require interpretation in an additional language, please submit your request to ej.inquiries@mass.gov.
Please submit written comments here by August 3, 2024.
