Overview
MDAR is hosting a webinar to share lessons learned from protecting and stewarding farmland in Massachusetts through the APR Program. At this webinar you can hear about what MDAR staff have learned since 1980 from acquiring and stewarding the 1000 properties included in the APR program. These lessons from the last 46 years have informed how the APR program has developed and evolved. These lessons may be helpful to others pursuing or stewarding Private APRs or ag friendly Conservation Restrictions (CRs).
This webinar is oriented towards land trusts, municipalities and other entities who are interested in protecting and stewarding farmland. Other partners are welcome to attend, including Ag Coms, Conservation Districts, ALPC members, Regional Planning Agency staff, and others are welcome to attend.
Registration is currently open. More details about the webinar with all who have registered, via the MFAP newsletter and on this webpage when it becomes available.
