Public Meeting Notice  Maffa Way/Mystic Ave. Bridge replacements project - May 9, 2024 meeting

Join us on Thursday, May 9 at 6:00 PM in Charlestown and Monday, May 13 at 6:00 PM in Somerville for two in-person Public Information Meetings. At these meetings, the project team will update the public on upcoming construction activities and traffic impacts. The meetings will feature a presentation by the project team, followed by time for attendees to ask questions. Identical information will be presented at each meeting. About the Project

The Maffa Way/Mystic Avenue Bridge Superstructure Replacements Project will replace two deteriorated bridge superstructures that carry vehicles and pedestrians over the MBTA’s Orange Line and Commuter Rail in Boston and Somerville. This construction project will also improve public safety and the reliability of critical infrastructure in a high-traffic corridor.
