Overview

The Executive Office of Labor and Workforce Development and the MassHire State Workforce Board are pleased to announce the 2026 MassHire Awards. This is an opportunity to celebrate our MassHire values of Collaboration, Respect, Reliability, and Ingenuity, and a chance to convene the MassHire team to recognize individual and system achievements. The sixth annual MassHire Awards will recognize and reward exceptional innovations in workforce service delivery in support of the MassHire Mission and Vision. The 2026 MassHire Awards will carry the theme of One Commonwealth—a celebration of the partnerships, innovation, and shared purpose that unite the MassHire system in serving the people and businesses of Massachusetts.

As we enter year two of the MassHire Innovation Project, we recognize a pivotal moment in our collective journey. This year's awards will honor the workforce leaders, teams, and partners whose vision, dedication, and commitment have helped shape the future of the MassHire system. Their leadership has driven meaningful change, strengthened collaboration across regions, and advanced innovative approaches that better connect employers with talent and job seekers with opportunity.

One Commonwealth reflects the belief that our greatest achievements are realized when we work together across agencies, Workforce Boards, Career Centers, state partners, and community organizations. By embracing innovation and a shared commitment to excellence, the MassHire network is building a more agile, equitable, and customer-centered workforce system.
