MFA Descriptive Tour on Zoom

The February descriptive tour explores the art of Printmaking. The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) will look at the etchings and lithographs by John Wilson (currently on view in the MFA exhibit "Witnessing Humanity: The Art of John Wilson”) and a silkscreen print by Andy Warhol. From Dürer’s “Four Horseman of the Apocalypse” to multicolored Japanese woodcuts of "The Floating World.” From Pop Art to Protest Art, printmaking is an indispensable tool for artistic exploration and graphic communication.
