MFA Descriptive Tour on Zoom

The April Descriptive Tour explores the art of Time, where does it come from? Where does it go? Time is invisible yet we can measure it with clocks, calendars, birthdays and anniversaries. These ideas are the subject of the April Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Descriptive Tour. The MFA will explore ancient Stonehenge, clocks made by enterprising Massachusetts craftspeople, and a modern virtuoso clockmaker who is inspired by a legacy of African art. The MFA will also feature a short excerpt from The Clock, a 24 hour long film collage comprised of scenes from hundreds of movies and television shows that feature clocks; it’s a fascinating masterpiece.
