MFA Descriptive Tour on Zoom

The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Descriptive tour for September explores the exhibition Strong Women in Renaissance Italy! The MFA will examine the roles of women during the Italian Renaissance, discuss the work and legacies of prominent female artists like Artemisia Gentileschi and Pier Jacopo Alari Bonacolsi, and hear the fabulous stories of their lives and chosen art subjects. The MFA will examine how the status of female artists has changed over the centuries and how we can seek out and appreciate different artists in today's world.
