MFA Descriptive Tour on Zoom

The Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Descriptive tour for October will feature portraits by John Singer Sargent (1856-1925) from the upcoming MFA exhibition, Fashioned by Sargent. In his portraits Sargent did much more than simply paint what appeared before him, he brought his subjects to life. He often chose what his sitters wore and, even if they arrived in his studio dressed in the latest fashions, he frequently simplified and altered the details.
