Potential of Load Management Study Public Workshop #2
Overview
Can technology reduce electricity costs for customers by strategically reducing demand? That’s what DOER is asking in its study on the potential for load management tools like energy efficiency, demand flexibility, and virtual power plants.
The study aims to quantify the total potential for peak savings and the opportunity for ratepayer savings, and identify barriers to Distributed Energy Resources’ (DER) adoption and participation.
During this public workshop, DOER will share preliminary study results and invite feedback. The topic of this second workshop is: Costs and Benefits, Barriers to DER Adoption and Participation.
Attendees can participate virtually or in-person.
