Overview   of Public Hearing on Proposed Regulation Changes: MEDICAL PAROLE 501 CMR 17.00

The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security (EOPSS) hereby provides notice of a public hearing on proposed revisions to 501 CMR 17.00, the regulations governing medical parole. These revisions are necessary due to several decisions of the Supreme Judicial Court, as well as public comments received in response to proposed revisions posted in July of 2020.

The Executive Office of Public Safety and Security will hold a public hearing on these proposed revised regulations on Tuesday, December 21, 2021, from 10:00AM to 1:00PM.  The hearing will be held remotely by means of a Zoom Webinar, which can be accessed with the following: information:

While it is not necessary, I encourage you to pre-register if you are interested in speaking during the hearing.
