Public hearing on the proposed model net metering tariff

On January 18, 2018, the Electric Distribution Companies filed with the Department a revised model net metering tariff pursuant to D.P.U. 17-10-A at 38, 41, which addresses small hydroelectric net metering facilities and agricultural net metering facilities, and Net Metering Rulemaking, D.P.U. 16-64-H (2017), which clarifies the net metering credits for cap exempt facilities and grandfathered facilities. The Electric Distribution Companies submitted the revised model net metering tariff to implement changes mandated by the Act. St. 2016, c. 188, § 10; G.L. c. 164, § 139A; 220 CMR 18.00.  The Department will conduct a public hearing to receive comments on the proposed model net metering tariff.
