Overview

MassDOT will hold a Public Information Meeting for the Route 114 Danvers/Peabody Long-Term Improvements Study. The meeting will be held in-person on August 1, 2024, at 6:00 p.m. at the Peter A. Torigian Senior Center, 79 Central Street, Peabody, MA. This study follows Tier 2 construction improvements carried out by the MassDOT Highway Division.

​At this meeting, the study team will share an overview of the study's background, present existing conditions work, and solicit feedback from the community.

The Route 114 Danvers/Peabody Long-Term Safety Improvements Study is intended to develop and analyze long-term potential changes to the Route 114 corridor within the Town of Danvers and the City of Peabody. The study will analyze the possibility of installing a median, among other safety measures, and ways to improve the public realm in the area. MassDOT will work with legislators, municipalities, and stakeholders to develop recommendations for this effort.​

These meetings are accessible to people with disabilities and those with limited English proficiency. Accessibility accommodations and language services will be provided free of charge, upon request, as available. Such services include documents in alternate formats, translated materials, assistive listening devices, and interpreters (including American Sign Language).
