RTAG General Meeting
Overview
If you have an opinion on bicycles and accessibility at the MBTA, don’t miss this month’s General Meeting of the Riders’ Transportation Access Group (RTAG). As part of the meeting agenda, RTAG will host a listening session for riders to share their thoughts and experiences around bicycles and public transit access. How do bike-related policies and infrastructure impact your ability to access the MBTA? How can the MBTA promote a system that’s good for both bike safety and transit accessibility?
MBTA staff will be in attendance with a brief presentation on:
- Current policies about bicycles on bus, subway, and Commuter Rail
- Coordination efforts with municipalities on bike lanes near bus stops
But most of all, the MBTA will be there to listen to what you have to say. You’ll also hear from General Manager Phillip Eng. The MBTA looks forward to your participation.
Note: The RIDE will not share a presentation during this meeting to allow enough time for full participation in the listening session. The Office of Transportation Access will share statistics and updates about The RIDE before the meeting. If you have specific RIDE concerns, please contact rtagboston@bostoncil.org or by phone at 978-893-8100.
