Seven Art Movements - Perkins Library
Overview
Feel artwork from the masters!
Visit Perkins between April 7, and May 5, 2025, Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., for Seven Art Movements, a free immersive exhibition from Tactile Images. Works from art masters such as Leonardo da Vinci, Johannes Vermeer, and Vincent van Gogh have been reimagined as detailed, sculpted prints and embedded with sensors that provide audio insights when touched. In addition to enjoying the art itself, you will learn about the history and evolution of seven critical art movements across time, from The Renaissance to Expressionism. The exhibit explores each individual period through subject matter, craftsmanship, and style—shown chronologically.
