Health Fair and Community Celebration of Veterans, 1st Responders, and Community Services: Strength in Unity
Date: Saturday, October 3, 2026, 1:00pm to 6:00pm
Location: North Quabbin Vet Center, Millbrook Crossing, 72 Freedom Street, Athol, MA 01331
Presented by the North Quabbin Trail Association and the DAV. Everyone is welcome! Free to join. Inside the Veterans Center will be family resources, on-site nurse wellness screenings, veterans services and community organizations and a Women in Recover Art Exhibit. Outside the Veterans Center will be live bands, food trucks, and food markets. There will also be downtown businesses and community organizations as well as children’s games and a play area.
Indigenous Peoples Day Newton Medicines of the Lands: Healing Through Ancestral Plants
Date: Monday, October 12, 2026, 11:00 am – 5:00 pm
Location: Albemarie Field, Newton, MA
Come and explorelocal Indigenous businesses and non-profits, enjoy live music, art demonstrations, and cultural presentations. Eat delicious food and be in community to celebrate Indigenous peoples!
