Overview

The Workers' Compensation Advisory Council (WCAC) plays an important role in making sure the Massachusetts workers' compensation system runs efficiently and effectively. We monitor and make recommendations on workers' compensation bills, and report on all aspects of the workers' compensation system.

There will be the Chairman's welcome, DIA updates by Director Sheri Bowles, Senior Judge Omar Hernandez, Director of Administration Bill Taupier, WCAC Executive Director Maureen O'Connell. Director O'Connell's update will include the 2025-26 Legislation, Workers’ compensation trends for 2025 and meetings for 2025 / FY’26 and action items.
