Fisheries Assessments and Surveys

The Assessment and Survey Program focuses on resources assessment, invertebrate fisheries research and monitoring and conservation of protected species.

Our biologists assess and monitor marine species, including marine mammals, in Massachusetts waters. Data collected is used to inform management decisions for commercially and recreationally important species.
