The DCR Stewardship Council encourages participation in our meetings from organizations engaged with the agency and its properties through the public comment period and through scheduled guest presentations.
The Stewardship Council has established the Guest Presenter Request Process and Form to enable a wide array of organizations to inform the council on matters aligned with its priorities. Criteria for selecting guest presenters may include but are not limited to:
- Organizations with an established relationship with DCR and/or a signed Memorandum of Understanding will be prioritized.
- Alignment of Stewardship Council priorities and presenter topic with meeting agenda.
- Location of the meeting relative to guest presenter (when in-person meetings resume).
Should there be more requests to present than opportunities available, members of the public and organizations will continue to have access to the public comment period of Stewardship Council meetings to share information and express their views.
