Camp Edwards Controlled Hunting Program Pre-registration

Pre-register by April 10 for turkey and October 1 for deer. You will only hear back if you do not pass the associated background check.

2026 controlled hunt dates:

  • Youth Turkey Hunt: Saturday, April 25
  • Spring Turkey Hunt: Monday, May 4 – Saturday, May 9
  • Youth Deer Scouting: Thursday, Oct. 1
    Scouting hours 8 a.m. – noon, check in/out at Range Control
  • Youth Deer Hunt: Friday, Oct. 2 and Saturday, Oct. 3
  • Paraplegic Deer Hunt: Thursday, Oct. 29 – Saturday, Oct. 31
  • Archery Deer Scouting: Wednesday, Nov. 4 – Thursday, Nov. 5
    Scouting hours 8 a.m. – noon, check in/out at Range Control
  • Archery Deer Hunt: Thursday, Nov. 12 – Saturday, Nov. 14
  • Military/First Responders Deer Hunt: Friday, Dec. 4
    Open to active duty/retired military and active duty/retired first responders (police, fire,  EMS); must show a current ID card.
  • Shotgun Deer Hunt: Monday, Dec. 7 – Saturday, Dec. 12
  • Muzzleloader Deer Hunt: Thursday, Dec. 17 – Friday, Dec. 18
