What you need for Anti-Freeze Permit Application Details and Links
If registering for first time or submitting a new formulation please note:

You need to start a new application, click here to register.
- A 4 oz sample of each antifreeze product must be sent to the Massachusetts Divisions of Standards Metrology Laboratory at 250 Eliot Street Suite 10-D Ashland, MA 01721.
- Please include with your samples a color copy of both the front and back labels of the 1 Gallon Container of each product that will be sold at retail. Once you have submitted an online application you will receive an email with more details.
- YOUR APPLICATION WON’T BE COMPLETED UNTIL THE SAMPLE IS SUBMITTED AND TESTED WITH A “PASS” RESULT.
Remember, if you already have a permit but you are submitting a NEW FORMULATION, A NEW REGISTRATION MUST BE SUBMITTED.
If renewing and the formulation has not changed you can login into the Registration Portal as a "Returning User"
Fees for Anti-Freeze Permit Application Details and Links
$25.00, if you register online you can pay online using a Card or ACH. If you register using a different method you need to mail in a check or money order, cash is not accepted.
