What you need   for Apply for a pharmacist license

  • Submitted NABP application at https://nabp.pharmacy
  • Completed Massachusetts licensure application, including notarized signature
  • Copy of birth certificate, valid passport, or driver’s license
  • 2”x 2” passport-sized photograph
  • Verification of Graduation form (first-time pharmacist applicants only)
  • Official report of NAPLEX score sent directly from NABP (Score Transfer applicants only)

Exams

You must complete the following exams:

  • NAPLEX (North American Pharmacist Licensure Examination)
  • MPJE (Multistate Pharmacy Jurisprudence Examination)

Approved applicants must contact Pearson VUE to:

  • Schedule the exam date.
  • Choose an exam location.

    Reexamination applicants for both NAPLEX and MPJE $121 each

    Reexamination applicants for MPJE $75 each
    Reinstatement/Board Consent applicants $75 each
    Handling charge for returned checks $23 each

    How many intern hours are required for licensure in the state of Massachusetts?

    A minimum of 1500 hours.

    Do my application and fees expire?

    Yes, the application is void if requirements are not met within one year from date of receipt. The fees are non-refundable and non-transferable.
