What you need
The Dam and Seawall Program is open to municipalities and nonprofit organizations. Funding rounds typically open in the late winter or early spring. Submission requirements may vary by round but generally include the following:
- Completed application
- Site plan(s)
- Engineer’s cost estimate
- Project schedule
- Any engineering drawings developed to date
- MEPA Project ID, if requesting construction funds
- Climate Resilience Design Standards Report
How to apply
The FY26 round of the Dam and Seawall Program has closed. Funding rounds typically open in the late winter or early spring. FY26 applicants can view their submissions on EEA’s online Grant Management System (GMS).
