The Details

Features

Our Data Protection service provides Data Protection for mission critical data for fully managed, co-located and remote office systems.  Using CommVault software, open systems application data is backed up to a centralized storage facility. 

  • Data is backed up to the central storage facility, and encrypted and sent offsite (AWS) as determined by your requirements. All backup data is encrypted at rest and in flight using the AES 256 method of encryption.
  • The team will work with you to determine backup and retention requirements and configure related services, with multiple levels and configuration options available

Reporting is provided to you on backup success, failures, etc.

Pricing

Currently, chargeback for Data Protection Services is part of a Managed Services Charge. In the near future, it will be it's own separate chargeback.

  • Responsible for backing up customer data to the central storage facility.
  • Responsible for encrypting the customer’s backup data both at rest and in flight using the AES 256 encryption.
  • Responsible for working with the customer to determine backup and retention requirements and configure related services.
