Features

With Network Address Translation (NAT), a firewall assigns a public IP Address (or range of IPs) to private network addresses, allowing multiple devices to access the Internet through a single public IP address. EOTSS will assign a Commonwealth-issued private IP address to translate your external IPs.

How to request

Who can request?

Designated Security Officers (DSOs) ONLY - will request on behalf of Commonwealth employees and their authorized business partners, whether or not currently supported by EOTSS.

Fulfillment: 90% within 6 business days*

*Intake of submitted requests for this service are reviewed on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 11am EST. Requests submitted outside those days/times won’t be reviewed until the next eligible day.
