We encourage you to file the employment and wage detail report and pay contributions in full by the quarter due dates below to avoid interest and penalties.

Interest will accrue on any unpaid principal balance at the rate of 12% per year from the quarter due date until fully paid.
How to pay Pay unemployment insurance contributions to DUA
- Log in to your UI Online account.
- Click Payment information.
- Click Payment account summary to view your account balance
- To view details of your outstanding balance, click on Unpaid debt or Interest calculator
- Click on Make a payment.
- Select Payment method and follow the onscreen prompts.
- Print out the payment confirmation number for your records.
Note: UI Online will prompt you to the Make payment process after you submit your employment and wage detail report.

Review your payments
You can review your payments by clicking Search payment under Payment Information. All payments submitted will appear in the search results. If you want to view payment information for a specific statement period, click Received payments on the Payment Account Summary page.

If you have outstanding debt and are unable to pay the full amount due, you can request a payment plan under Payment Information on UI Online. This will allow you to pay the outstanding debt in installments. Keep in mind that interest will continue to accrue.

Payment method options
DUA accepts the following payment methods:
- Paper check – Please print out the online voucher and send it to the address on the voucher
- ACH debit – You need to enter your routing number and checking account number
- ACH credit – You need to register by using the Registration to pay DUA taxes via an ACH Credit Registration Form
- Credit Card - We accept Discover, MasterCard and Visa. Please note that there is a 2.35% processing fee assessed to each credit card transaction
Deferral option
If eligible, employers may defer up to 34% of regular UI contributions owed in Quarter 1 and Quarter 2. For more information about the deferral option, please refer to the deferral of unemployment insurance (UI) contributions webpage.
