Renew a cable license

Since Massachusetts law limits the term of a license, issuing authorities must periodically review and renew licenses. The Department oversees the renewal process, which has been established under federal law, and supplemented by our regulations.
The framework set forth by federal law provides a 36-month period in which to conduct license renewal proceedings.
