What you need
If you need to provide proof of unemployment benefits income:
- In many cases, less formal information from your online account will work. If the requesting agency doesn’t need a formal letter, log in to your Unemployment Account for Workers to download required information.
- If the requesting agency does need a formal letter, follow the instructions to submit a request by email or mail.
How to request
If the requesting agency requires a formal letter from DUA:
- Download the Release of Information for Claimant form
- Complete the form
- Email it to: duapublicrecordsrequest@detma.org
