More info
If you don't receive an email with the verification code:
- Check your email spam folder for the message
- If you have more than one email address, make sure you're looking for the message in the right mailbox. The message will be sent to address you used to log in to your account.
- Make sure you entered the email address correctly.
- If you still haven’t received a code after taking steps 1-5, check that you are in the account verification screen and not the multifactor authentication (MFA) screen. Verification codes are sent by email after entering your email address. Authentication codes are sent by your authenticator app.
If you enter the code and it doesn’t work:
- Make sure that you entered it in correctly
- Each code is good for five minutes. After five minutes, you will need to select "Get a new code."
- If you requested a code more than once, make sure that you’re entering the latest one you received
