What you need   for Request Reasonable Accommodation Capital Reserve Account (RACRA) funds

The Reasonable Accommodations Capital Reserve Account, or RACRA, has been established to assist executive branch agencies in responding to employee requests for reasonable accommodations in the workplace, where providing the accommodation may otherwise be a financial hardship for the agency.

Prior to beginning a RACRA application, please contact us at MOD-RACRA@mass.gov.

How to request   Request Reasonable Accommodation Capital Reserve Account (RACRA) funds

  1. Print out and complete the RACRA Request Form.
  2. Write a cover memo, where you must:
    1. Detail the costs listed on the form
    2. Explain your reasoning for the accommodations requested
  3. Attach your cover memo to your completed RACRA request form.
  4. Submit the original form, with (inked) signatures, and memo to:

Application review

After you submit your RACRA application, MOD reviews the agency application and, if appropriate, certifies eligibility to the Executive Office for Administration and Finance (A&F). 

A&F then reviews the application. If A&F decides to approve the application, it will initiate the ISA process to transfer the funds to your agency.
