How to request Request Reasonable Accommodation Capital Reserve Account (RACRA) funds
- Print out and complete the RACRA Request Form.
- Write a cover memo, where you must:
- Detail the costs listed on the form
- Explain your reasoning for the accommodations requested
- Attach your cover memo to your completed RACRA request form.
- Submit the original form, with (inked) signatures, and memo to:

Application review
After you submit your RACRA application, MOD reviews the agency application and possibly certifies eligibility to the Executive Office for Administration and Finance (A&F).
A&F then reviews MOD’s certification, and if they accept your application, it authorizes your agency to proceed with using RACRA funds for accommodations.

The Reasonable Accommodations Capital Reserve Account, or RACRA, has been established to assist executive branch agencies in responding reasonably and responsibly to employee requests for reasonable accommodations in the workplace.
Applications are addressed on a first come first serve basis. Funds are distributed until they are gone for the current year. Once funds have run out, we encourage agencies that are seeking funds to reapply in the next fiscal year.
