What you need for Submit a Hot Mix Asphalt Job Mix Formula
Submittal Process
Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) Laboratory Trial Mix Formulas (LTMFs) and Design Mix Formulas (DMFs) that will be used as HMA Job Mix Formulas (JMFs) shall meet the most current requirements of subsection M3.06.0 as found in the MassDOT Standard Specifications for Highways and Bridges.
HMA LTMFs and DMFs shall be submitted electronically following the process illustrated in the LTMF & DMF Approval Flow Charts. Mix designs shall be uploaded to the MassDOT QA SharePoint HMA site found at www.massdotqa.com. Designs shall be submitted on the most current HMA workbook.
HMA LTMFs and DMFs will only be approved for HMA Plants and Laboratories which meet the requirements of subsections M3.13.0 and M3.12.0, respectively.
Approved HMA Production Facilities, Laboratories, LTMFs and DMFs can be found on the Qualified Construction Materials List
