Features

You may use this request to deprovision employees leaving the Commonwealth, as well as existing Commonwealth employees that are transferring to a different agency. 

If the user has a VPN account, please have your agency DSO submit a request to deprovision the user’s VPN access

How to request

Who can request?

Designated Provisioning Coordinators (DPCs) ONLY - will request on behalf of Commonwealth employees and their authorized business partners, whether or not currently supported by EOTSS.

SLEResponsibilities/Dependencies

Fulfillment: 99% within 2 weeks after the user’s end date. Please note: the request must be submitted at least 2 weeks prior to the user’s end date. The user’s account will be disabled on the date identified as their last day.

Important Note: User’s account, VPN, and MFA are disabled on the end date indicated in the request.  All other tasks will be completed within the 2 weeks’ fulfillment noted above.

Customer

  • Responsible for adhering to the EOTSS Standard Rules of Engagement.
  • Responsible for submitting the request 2 weeks prior to the user’s end date.
  • Responsible for having their agency DSO submit a request to deprovision the user’s VPN access when applicable.
  • Responsible for complete review of the user’s access to applications including those not managed by EOTSS
  • Responsible for disabling access to applications not managed by EOTSS.
  • Responsible for coordinating with EOTSS Deskside to collect any and all state issued equipment.

EOTSS

  • Responsible for the following tasks:
    • Deprovision the user’s access*
    • Disabling the user’s account
    • Revoking multifactor authentication (MFA)
    • Deprovision the user’s VPN (per separate request)
    • Removing user from Security Groups and Distribution lists managed and maintained by EOTSS
    • Collect equipment

*Please note, EOTSS will only disable access to applications it manages.
