What you need   for WP82: Administrative Renewal of Groundwater Discharge Permit

Under the Groundwater Discharge Permit Program regulations (314 CMR 5.00), MassDEP may administratively renew a permit to a non-industrial groundwater discharge which the agency regulates. Administrative renewal consists of extending the existing permit for an additional 5 years, provided that no changes to the permit are required or requested and all of the conditions of 314 CMR 5.12(9)(a) - (j) are met.

You must apply for this renewal if you hold a valid individual groundwater discharge permit and wish to continue the permitted activity beyond the expiration date of the existing permit, and you do not want to make any changes to the current permit.

    Important Note: Even when applying online, you will still need to complete a conventional Application Form and upload it as an attachment during the online filing process. Please do not mail in these forms.

  3. Submit your Application and Fee Payment

    1. File online via the EEA ePlace Portal.
    2. You will have the option to pay online by credit card or automated clearing house (ACH) or pay by mail. If you select the pay-by-mail option, instructions on how to do so will be provided when you submit your online application.
