Conference Registration
- Visit the DFS Learning Management System (LMS) at https://hraccess-us.technomedia.com/mfa/index.cfm.
- If you do not have an account in the LMS, you must create one to register for the conference.
– Select the link to create a new account.
– Click on My Account (on the red bar at the top of the page).
– Follow the directions to create your LMS account.
After you create your account and log in, search for the course code for your registration choice (J01 or J01c). The conference cost is $210.
- Select one of these choices to register for the conference:
– # J01: Applicant to pay
– # J01c: Department to pay (please contact your department for the reserve code)
After you finish the LMS registration, you will get an email asking you to fill out a Workshop Registration Form, including specific workshops.
Please Note: Your conference registration is not complete until you fill out and submit the Workshop Registration Form. You will receive an email confirmation of your complete registration after you submit the form. The confirmation email will be from noreply@docuware.cloud.

Cancellation Policy
No refunds 0-9 days prior to conference.
Full refund 10 days or more prior to conference.
Date, Time, and Location
The conference will be held from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm on September 20-21, 2023, at the Southbridge Hotel and Conference Center in Southbridge, MA. An open social hour and networking dinner will be held on the evening of September 20. Reservations are required for the dinner.
Hotel rooms for conference attendees are $125 (plus tax). Be sure to identify the Massachusetts Fire & Life Safety Education Conference when you reserve. Reserve by August 30, 2023. Call 508-765-8000 or visit www.southbridgehotel.com. DFS is not responsible for hotel accommodations.
Who Should Attend
Workshops are designed for fire educators, fire prevention officers, EMTs, teachers, older adult specialists, nurses, school leaders, police officers, and firefighters at every level of experience. Whether you’re a seasoned veteran or new to safety education, we have workshops that support what you do. The conference highlights activities that brought us this far, and helps us look forward to all that is needed to keep communities safe from fire.

Nominations are being accepted for the Fire & Life Safety Educator of the Year award. The award recognizes individuals or teams for their commitment to making our world safer from fire and preventable injuries. We are looking for people who make a difference and who demonstrate leadership, teamwork, creativity, perseverance, and vision. Do you know someone who deserves to be recognized?
