Written Examination Date: August 17, 2024
Experience & Education (E&E) Application Deadline: August 24, 2024
Score Release Date: October 2, 2024
Experience & Education (E&E) Last Day to Appeal: October 19, 2024
Eligible List Established Date: November 1, 2024

Written Examination Fee: $150
Location: Various Sites across the Commonwealth
Eligibility: This is a departmental promotional exam. Please refer to the exam poster/application for specific information.

    Promotional examination candidates are required to file their E&E Claims; It is a mandatory examination component and will result in a failing score on the E&E component if the claim is not completed.  Supporting documentation will be accepted up to seven calendar days following the examination date by email: civilservice@mass.gov
  7. Score Release Date: October 2, 2024
    Examination results are issued by email.
  8. Experience & Education (E&E) Last Day to Appeal: October 19, 2024

    Before filing an appeal regarding your E&E claim, please ensure that your submitted documentation supports the information referenced on your E&E claim.

  9. Eligible List Established Date: November 1, 2024
    When the eligible list is established you will be able to view your rank.
